A few rain storms had passed throughout the day, so once it stopped raining, I figured I’d cast a line in to a few ditches around town..
The current was moving pretty fast in the first couple of places that I went, but I wasn’t about to give up that easy!
Especially after being stuck inside for a few days because of all the rain..
At the third spot, the water level was higher than usual, but calm without a strong current.
I didn’t have any luck there either! lol!
But it’s like the old saying goes:
“It’s better to try than not try..”
or something like that..
I don’t really remember ALL the details, but ya get the general idea..
